The mediaeval villages (route by car)

At a few kilometers from the Hostal Alberana, you can discover mediaeval villages as such Pals, Peratallada and Palau Sator. The structure of these villages is notable, along with the heritage they still contain dating from the Middle Ages.  

 La Bisbal d’Empordà capital of pottery

La Bisbal d’Empordà is the of the district, and well-knowed as the capital of pottery . The main street crossing the village, is lined with shops selling the typical pottery of the town. In La Bisbal you can also visit the Terracotta Museum, dedicated to the pottery-making tradition.

 Figueres & Dali Museum

At about 25 minutes from the hostel, the Dali Museum is the main tourist attraction of Figueres. You can also find a lively shopping area in the old town, museums and other activities held throughout the year. If you want to discover Dali’s word near the hostel, you can also visit the Palace in Púbol, designed and decorated for Dali for his wife, Gala and located just at 10km from the hostel.
